Dan Hofer grew up on a farm and fully intended to follow in his family’s path by saving enough money for his own farm. In doing so, he took a job constructing post frame buildings for farms in his community. He quickly learned the value of these buildings and how they helped farmers save money by protecting their equipment, feed and livestock from the ever-changing prairie weather. The concept of helping other people, with the philosophy of treating others how he himself would want to be treated, inspired Dan to found the company, D Bar D Building Systems. Today, as the president of a growing team and dynamic company, Dan still believes as much in the relationships he builds with his customers as he does in the quality products the company produces.
